VISION PLUS PROMOTES TANZANIA IN IRAQ, DELIGHTED WITH PRESIDENT SAMIA’S WORK

By Our Reporter

The private institution Vision Plus, which provides eye health and eyewear services, has successfully promoted Tanzania internationally through its specialist eye services in Iraq.

This initiative has touched the hearts of Iraqi citizens who received these services from Vision Plus.

Speaking to this outlet, the CEO of Vision Plus, Dr. Hassanal Datoo, said he was pleased to promote Tanzania internationally while also informing the people of Iraq about the great work done by President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan.

Dr. Datoo said he fulfilled this mission when he was given the opportunity to be interviewed by officials from the Shia Endowment Office (ATABAT) based in Iraq.

“I had the honor of being interviewed by officials from ATABAT (Shia Endowment Office – Iraq), an institution that manages Shia holy sites and coordinates NGO activities during the Arbaeen of Imam Hussain.

“Among other things, our discussion focused on my long-term contribution in establishing eye treatment camps in Zanzibar, where for many years I have provided free eye care services to pilgrims and local communities during this sacred event.

“It was a great honor to present my vision of service and explore the broader benefits of this initiative.

“But of great importance, I also gave them a brief history of Zanzibar and the rapid development taking place in Tanzania, and how President Dr. Samia is accelerating progress.”
